Product Features
- A quick-release mechanism, meaning the jaws can be rapidly opened and readjusted without having to repeatedly rotate the handle. These are designed with a split nut that rapidly unlocks and releases the main screw, thus allowing the sliding jaw to be quickly readjusted into a new position.
- The adjustable front stop or dog gives an additional cramping facility when used in conjunction with a bench stop. An useful addition which provides a normal vice and tail vice in one tool. Two steel guide rods to reduce wear and ensure a smooth parallel action Jaws toe in so that when pressure is applied they give an even clamping over the whole depth of the work piece. Adjustable dog used in conjunction with bench stops fitted into the bench top. Location holes are provided so you can fit your own choice of wooden cheeks to protect the work piece.

This vice has a “toe-in feature”(A toe-in feature means that the sliding jaw of the vice is tilted slightly inwards, so that when the jaws are empty and closed, they only meet at the top. ) so that when fully closed the jaws only meet at the top to provide even clamping on the whole depth of the workpiece
